Frequently Asked Questions:
Where do we meet for the tour? - We will meet at our Dawson City Base at N, Km 716.5, Klondike Hwy.
Can we take Bear Spray or Camp Fuel on the Helicopter? - Yes. All Dangerous Goods will be stored in an outside compartment for safety.
How much gear can I bring for camping? - The smaller helicopter (JetRanger) works best with two people and gear. With three people it is fully loaded. The Maximum weight of all passengers & gear must be less than 650 lbs. The larger helicopter (LongRanger) can take three to five people with ease. Care must still be given to keep the weight of all passengers & gear under 1200lbs. Please also make sure gear is packed small as space is also limited.
Can we do Drop-off / Pick-up to lakes other than Talus Lake? - No, Park Regulations and Permitting only allow Talus Lake Drop-offs & Pick-ups.
What should I wear? -Always dress for unexpected weather. The mountains are higher than Dawson City which means there is a temperature drop. A warm jacket is recommended.
Do you sell tour flights per seat? -We do not sell flights per seat. When you purchase a tour, you are chartering the helicopter for the time period of that tour.
